AUDITAX INTERNATIONAL Chartered Accountants (Zimbabwe) is a professional accounting and business advisory services firm, and is a member firm of AUDITAX INTERNATIONAL (“Auditax International”), a Zimbabwean Brand. The Auditax International was formed and registered by the AUDITAX International Global founders and is, therefore, a Zimbabwean organization.
Independent firms operating within the AUDITAX International network are members of AUDITAX International Global Association. No member firm has any authority to obligate or bind AUDITAX International Global or any fellow member firm, vis-a-vis third parties, nor does AUDITAX International Global have any such authority to obligate or bind any of its member firms – AN EFFECTIVE AND FLEXIBLE RISK MANAGEMENT STRUCTURAL MODEL

External Audit
We carry out external audits for clients in various industrial sectors and lines of business (“LoBs”). We strive to conduct our audits in the most efficient and cost effective manner, and always seek to highlight and report on what we consider pertinent business issues to management. Such reportable issues are always meant to assist clients in their management of risks and in avoiding potential catastrophes, and not to criticize management.
Risk Management Services (Including internal audit)
Financial, operational and compliance audits, that are designed to add value and improve clients’ operational effectiveness. Information system reviews, aimed at checking the reliability and integrity of information systems, compliance with policies and regulations, safeguarding of assets, the economical and efficient use of resources, and attainment of established operational goals and objectives.
Accounting based advisory services
Assisting with the writing up of books of primary entry, preparation of bank reconciliation statements, as well as posting of cash books and other subsidiary books to the debtors, creditors and nominal ledgers; and Extracting trial balances and preparing financial statements in compliance with the Companies Act (Chapter 24:03) and International Financial Reporting Standards “IFRS”

Corporate Recovery Services & Payroll Administration
Liquidations; Compromises/ arrangements in general (reconstruction); Reconstruction/administration of state-indebted insolvent companies; Judicial management and curatorships; Administration of deceased estates and Trusteeships. Preparation of payroll analyses for companies and Assisting clients to comply with statutory requirements such as PAYE, NSSA and NEC.
Tax Advisory Services
We offer tax advisory services on a wide range of business activities, including: Business start - ups; Mergers and acquisitions (M & A); Schemes of reconstruction and reorganization of businesses; Double taxation agreements (DTAs); Corporate and personal tax planning; Advice on tax audits or investigations instituted by tax authorities; Training on tax compliance and tax planning, as well as the administrative aspects thereof; Estate planning; Organizing tax clearance certificates; and Tax computations and submissions of returns.
Corporate secretarial services
Registration of companies; Maintenance of statutory records for companies; Submission of annual returns and other statutory forms to the Registrar of Companies; Checking for compliance of companies with government regulatory requirements; Maintenance of share registers, minute books and register of members for companies; and Performing general company secretarial work.
IT and General Management Consultancy
Services offered by this unit include: Formulation, implementation and project management of turnaround plans, focusing on improved effectiveness, cost management and efficiency; Performing cost-benefit analyses on existing funding arrangements in order to establish possible restructuring opportunities, and to produce optimal funding structures; Providing advisory services to small and medium enterprises management; Formulation and articulation of strategic business plans, including financing strategy; Project management and so much more

Leonard Mutunga
Chartered AccountantA founding partner of AUDITAX International Chartered Accountants (Zimbabwe). He was the Managing Partner from inception in 2014 until August 2015. Currently, he is the Chairman of the Firm’s Practice Development Committee and is a member of both the Management and Quality Control Committees.
Stephen Fushayi
Assurance Partner and Head of Audit PracticeHe is the Chairman of the Firm’s Management Committee and is a member of both the Firm’s Quality Control and Practice Development Committees. He holds a Bachelors of Accounting from University of Zimbabwe, Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting Sciences (UNISA) and Registered Public Auditor. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Zimbabwe, Public Accountants and Auditors Board and holds a Temporary Chartered Public Accountant (CPA) Tanzania
Onias Chakawa
Head of Tax and Corporate AdvisoryHe holds a Bachelor in Accounting Science, B.Compt with UNISA, Post graduate Diploma in Accounting Sciences (UNISA) and obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Taxation. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe, Chartered Certified Accountants, and Institute of Certified Tax Accountants and recently into Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW)
